I work for an open source solutions company based in Johannesburg, South Africa, where I work as  a lead application developer and solutions architect. Basically those are fancy titles meaning that I building systems with open source componenets and glue them together with custom code to create a solution for our customers.

My main development languages are Java and PHP but its amazing how far a few lines of bash script can get you :) For our production environments we mainly support Redhat/Centos, Debian/Ubuntu and Novell's Open Suse.
