A little insight into who I am......

My motivation to help with the creation of Open Tech Exchange, is based on my belief that we all deserve the freedom to choose our software and to enhance or modify it to suit our needs.

As well, one of my passions has been to give youth better insight into computing other then just social media or music pirating.  OSS provides a perfect learning tool for this purpose.

I have an extensive background in IT ranging from deskside support & network administration to installation of satellite internet in remote locations. 

I am now taking this experience and using it to help organizations make the decision to embrace and migrate to open source solutions.

On a personal note, currenty I reside in Calgary Alberta Canada, having recently re-located to the city from my beautiful ranch in the Rocky Mountain foothills (what was I thinking?).  When I am chilling, you will find me either riding one of my horses, hiking in the mountians, or indulging in some white water rafting.
