Just a quick blog post to let people know episode 18 is out. There is more info in the show notes. As per usual I opine on the evils of the world and wonder why we can't live together as one happy penguin colony?

There is lots going on these days, and the soccer world cup may give me some time to catch up on tasks as everything in South Africa slows down until the event is over. Not sure how they work it out but the experts claim it will add 0.5-1% to GDP. I don't think they have taken the lost productivity and business into account as business effectively shuts-down during the event. I suspect the real GDP contribution is closer to -0.5 to 0%, but that's just me.
